At our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, we are looking to recruit a Study Coordinator to join the team.

The Study Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities of routine and non-routine toxicology studies, in compliance with the appropriate company standards, Home Office requirements and regulatory guidelines, in a timely, efficient manner.
This role is an office-based, on-site position however offers the possibility for flexible working after training.
The Study Coordinator:
Is familiar with standard operating procedures, capabilities, and regulatory guidelines. Serves as a team resource for questions related to these topics.
Provides leadership to study teams and successfully manages difficult projects
May lead client or internal discussions, with input from Study Director, related to study design changes and study issues
Serves as a contact, along with the Study Director, in communication and interactions with other departments and clients, with assistance as applicable
Drafts protocols and amendments for Study Director Review and approval
Ensures all client comments on protocols and amendments are addressed in a timely manner
Addresses and reviews quality assurance audits relating to protocols and amendments and reports (as applicable), with oversight. Follows up with appropriate personnel to ensure all necessary document/data clarifications are completed in the specified timelines
Identifies opportunities for process improvements and assists in their resolution. May participate in other process improvement teams
Manages increasingly complex projects and study designs while taking on an increased workload
Provides input and assist with implantation of new technology and system changes/upgrades/enhancements

Education / Qualifications:
BSc, preferably Life Science degree. Experience may be substituted for education
Skills / Experience:
Significant demonstrable experience in Toxicology/Study Coordination or a client facing position, preferably within a CRO
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail and consistent accuracy whilst managing multiple changing priorities
Knowledge of GLPs, regulatory agency guidelines and Home Office requirements
