OTFLH: Florida Home Offices Remote Location, Remote City, FL, 33408 USAAs a member of the North America contract accounting team you will support the accounting and reporting process for all construction activities. The successful candidate will be self-directed and able to work independently, experienced using the Microsoft Suite office tools, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and be a willing and enthusiastic team player.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process, as it relates to all areas of construction accounting
- Provide in-depth analysis of business performance and highlight risk and opportunities
- Review contracts financial results and analytical deliverables to validate completeness and accuracy of the reported results. Work with the business units to resolve any issues
- Evaluate and improve the finance processes in the area of construction accounting
- Assist in maintaining internal control, desktop procedures, administer department policies and procedures to assure robust internal controls.
- Support Internal and External audit requests
- Proactive leader in supporting the operating groups with timely and accurate information that enables them to make logical financial decisions.
- Coordinate and self-manage special projects
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in finance preferred
- Strong analytical skills and experience in initiating process improvement.
- Strong interpretation and summarization skills, able to interpret data and come up with observations and recommendations
- Strong in communication and teamwork. Able to work out complex problems with a team
- Flexible and committed, able to multi-task and deliver before deadline
- Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Smart View, and Qlikview
LOCATION:
We are open to remote candidate with travel to Palm Beach Gardens, FL
The salary range for this role is $100,000-$115,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
