JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Coordinator position is an advanced level role in the ADM Nutrition Customer Service organization, which is responsible for managing the key customer account order fulfilment process from order entry to delivery. This role reports to the [Insert Line Manager position] at the [Office/Plant Location] facility.

The Account Coordinator position plays a critical part in this process by working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Regulatory, and Quality teams to provide an industry leading customer experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers.
- Answer customer inquiries via email and phone.
- Participate in customer meetings and in-person visits.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor daily and ad hoc reports.
- Prepare and submit customized documentation.
- Resolve credit hold issues.
- Serve as a dedicated order management resource for key customer accounts.
- Process new and revised purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Provide timely order acknowledgements and shipment status updates to customers.
- Proactively identify and resolve order issues, track shipments, and expedite orders as needed.
- Issue proper documentation for all shipments.
- Maintain accurate data for customers in all required systems.
- Provide pre- and post-order support.
- Provide support and guidance to other ADM businesses, locations, and teams.
- Understand domestic and international shipment processes and provide documentation support.
- Proactively analyze stock levels of raw materials and finished goods for potential issues.
- Reduce excess inventory through targeted customer outreach.
- Support and provide trend feedback to the Supply Chain team for the demand forecasting process.
- Collaborate with cross functional support teams to resolve product issues and customer complaints.
- Serve as backup to other Account Coordinators in their absence.
- Assist Customer Service leadership with meetings, reporting, and process improvement.

- Strong computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, and using business systems such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and ERPs.
- Willingness to learn, help others, and flexibility to adapt to change.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, depending upon business needs.
- This position may require occasional domestic travel to visit customers. Travel will typically involve overnight stays and require the ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to varying travel conditions.
- Minimum of a 4-year college degree (Bachelor’s Degree) supplemented with at least three 3 years of relevant work experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Must be an existing ADM Nutrition colleague for a minimum of 18 months and actively pursuing a Customer Service focused career path.
- Position requires sitting for prolonged periods of time and operating a keyboard.
