We have an exciting new position available for an R&D Samples Coordinator to join our team at our Lebanon, Ohio Development Center. The R&D Samples Coordinator (Ingredients) is responsible for providing project support and execution for Ingredient Sales, R&D Flavors, Technology. The R&D Samples Coordinator should provide value to projects and company efforts with supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently manages all aspects of ingredient projects, including producing application samples for presentations to customers, sample shipping and project execution. Independently manage flavor resample projects, shipping documentation etc.
- Evaluation and collaboration with the assigned R&D resources of ingredient materials as needed. Gains understanding of flavor materials.
- Attend and present ingredients and application samples at industry events and customer presentations with leadership direction.
- Liaise with global counterparts in coordination and management of sample and documentation requests between affiliates.
- Coordination and support of new ingredient introductions.
- Completes assigned projects and internal requests within the designated time frame. Notifies management of any expected delays, issues, etc., in a timely manner. Follows all procedures for documentation of material specifications and project completion.
- Retains samples of all materials and works with management to take appropriate actions if any stability or processing issues are observed.
- Leads general up-keep, maintenance and stocking of the Laboratory, e.g., lab cleanliness, raw material and flavor sample archival and inventory management.
- Maintain stock of ingredients and supply items necessary for the department to function properly.
- Serve as backup to the raw material coordinator and independently manages raw material requests and process for all R&D Laboratories through proprietary software program.
- Provides necessary raw material standards and technical information related to QC, Production, and Regulatory as needed.
- Supports internal initiatives as needed including ingredient sales management support, reporting and cost savings as defined by direct manager.
- Participate and actively work towards laboratory and process improvement.
- Full understanding of Mane project processes to move projects forward.
- Serve as back-up as needed to other roles/responsibilities in the sample department.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. B.S. degree preferred.
