PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Field Recruiting Manager is a strategic leader who drives the success of the Field Recruiting team, and serves as the primary recruiting partner for assigned member companies. By leading campus and member recruitment initiatives—including alignment and integration—the Field Recruiting Manager delivers proactive recruiting support, sourcing services, and talent pipeline development across assigned territories. Champions and fosters a System approach to attracting top talent —including interns and early career professionals—ensuring they are equipped to meet both current and future hiring demands.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP
Supervises, leads, and develops the Field Recruiting team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and data-informed recruiting function. Cascades field recruiting strategies, training, and metrics down to team members and recruiting partners across all areas of the cooperative—including members, retailers, and subsidiaries. Serves as the unifying force in building cohesive recruiting efforts that reflect the cooperative model.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develops and executes campus recruiting strategy to build early talent pipelines and strengthen relationships with academic partners.
Leads member recruitment strategy, ensuring alignment, integration, and a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) across all recruiting efforts.
Provides ongoing support for member recruiting, serving as a resource and advisor to member companies and HR partners.
Leads, guides, and strategically directs facility recruitment activities, ensuring alignment with system-wide standards and business needs.
Owns and maintains the Recruiting Activation Site, ensuring it reflects current information, resources, and tools for recruiting personnel and hiring managers.
Drives systemwide communications related to recruiting initiatives, updates, and best practices.
Collaborates with the Talent Operations team to address recruiting technology needs, including providing feedback and resolving concerns related to SuccessFactors and other platforms.
Analyzes workforce trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor intelligence to inform and adapt recruitment strategies.
Takes ownership of continued training, resources, networking, and facilitation for recruiting teams and stakeholders.
Leads the Talent Acquisition Advisory Council, facilitating knowledge sharing and strategic direction for talent acquisition across the organization.
Tracks, analyzes, and reports on high-level recruiting metrics and scorecards to drive data-informed decision making and continuous improvement.
Strategically engages with national organization partnerships such as FFA, AFA, and PAS.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources or business or the equivalent thereof, and at least 5 years of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of talent acquisition practices.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as necessary.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
