About the role

As a Thrift Store Supervisor, this is your opportunity to oversee the operations of the shop, ensuring quality customer service, diligence in cash handling, sorting of donated goods, pricing and maintaining the general appearance and upkeep of the shop. Equally important, the Thrift Shop Supervisor is responsible for fostering a culture of inclusiveness and community spirit amongst the volunteer team, which will in turn enhance the customer experience in the store.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this is a this is a casual position based in Port Lincoln, SA.

Additional Hours may be required time to time to support the team if there is an absence or the Store Manager is on Annual leave.


How you will make an impact

  • Encourage, Recruit and Supervise new volunteers.

  • Ensure volunteers are adequately supervised at all times.

  • Work with The Store Manager to achieve set agreed monthly budget.

  • Support instore promotions when required.

  • Ensure timely management of delivered donations

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in supervisory role.

  • Demonstrated people skills with an emphasis on volunteers and the community.

  • Experience in mentoring/training Volunteers

  • A national police record check is required
