WD-40 Company is seeking a dynamic National Accounts Manager to lead our Canadian national accounts and third-party broker/agency teams. This role is responsible for implementing sales and marketing programs, developing account-specific business plans, and driving sales growth across direct and broker-managed accounts.
This role offers the flexibility of working fully remote or a hybrid.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with corporate goals to achieve Net Invoice Sales (NIS), Net Sales, and EBITDA targets.
- Lead third-party broker/agency teams to maximize consumer purchases and field support for national and regional accounts.
- Build multiple touchpoints within assigned accounts and third-party managed customers to achieve sales objectives.
- Present solution-driven sales presentations using strong product knowledge.
- Ensure optimal distribution and department planograms for assigned customers.
- Accurately forecast sales and recommend programs.
- Execute and support major promotions and account-specific programs.
- Analyze customer insights and market data to prepare presentations, negotiate, and close sales.
- Manage, audit, and report performance of third-party brokers/agents.
- Identify and solicit new key customers and develop new trade channels.
- Manage trade shows and e-commerce partnerships.
- Operate within expense control guidelines and budgets.
- University or College Degree, or equivalent business experience.
- 5+ years of progressive management responsibility
- 7+ years of key account management in a CPG environment.
- Experience with Canadian market key accounts and multiple trade channels.
