Key Accountabilities: 

  • Process and record cash receipts and accrual entries with accuracy and timeliness 
  • Provide primary support for cash disbursement activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Assist in recording daily banking transactions in both CAD and USD accounts
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing and analyzing debt-related schedules, including long-term debt, effective interest rate calculations, and realized foreign exchange and risk management gains/losses
  • Contribute to quarter-end reporting by preparing and coordinating schedules such as covenant calculations, trust indenture compliance, financial statement reviews, and MD&A disclosures
  • Participate in treasury-related projects and perform additional duties to support team goals and strategic initiatives

What You Bring to the Role:

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration
  • Completion of, or enrollment in an accounting designation (CPA) program is preferred
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Enterprise One (E1) are required
