Associate Lecturer in Acting (Live Performance and Theatre Making) chez Bath Spa University

We welcome applications from professionals and academics with experience in acting or related disciplines, including theatre-making, producing, or directing. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about teaching about live performance who can contribute expertise, creativity, and forward-thinking to our team.

In this role, you’ll be delivering teaching in a variety of ways – from lectures and practical workshops to seminars, tutorials, and discussion groups – both on campus and online. You’ll support undergraduates in their learning journey and assess their work across different formats, including written, performative, and oral assessments. 

Alongside teaching, you’ll take on some core admin tasks, such as tracking attendance, giving constructive written feedback, and keeping marking records up to date, helping to ensure students get the best possible experience.
