ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate as a team member in the planning, strategy, design and structure of client proposals providing technical and analytical support.
- Design, develop and program computer systems and models required for analysis and interpretation of financial data by underwriters in the Public Finance area.
- Consult with underwriters and financial advisors in determining program requirements and critical analytical factors to be included in the program models and systems.
- Maintain validity and adequacy of programs and models through regular analysis and testing procedures.
- Resolve problems or questions related to the created programs and models analyzing and correcting as required.
- Train other personnel in system design and analysis as needed or required.
- Generate written documents as necessary for utilization by program/model users and technicians.
- Maintain personnel expertise in systems analysis through participation in workshops, seminars, schools and conferences and through regular review of appropriate texts and publications.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years related experience and/or training preferred
- Equivalent combination of education, training or experience
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
The following registrations will be required within 3 months of employment:
- SIE – Securities Industry Essentials
- Series 52 – Municipal Securities Representative
- Series 53 - Municipal Securities Principal
- Series 63 – Uniform State Law Exam
