Position Summary:
The HR Director will oversee all human resources functions across our store network, Transportation Division, Wholesale Division and corporate operations. This position will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee development, compliance, and workforce planning. The right candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and support store operations
- Lead company-wide recruitment and retention efforts for store and corporate roles
- Design and manage onboarding, training, and performance programs
- Build and maintain strong employee relations practices, including coaching and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and safety regulations (federal, state, and local)
- Manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compensation benchmarking
- Support workforce scheduling, labor forecasting, and operational efficiency
- Provide leadership coaching and guidance to store managers and district supervisors
- Maintain accurate HR metrics and reporting to support decision-making
Requirements:
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-site retail or service-based businesses
- 3+ years in a senior HR leadership role
- Solid understanding of labor law, HR systems, and industry-specific challenges
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel to store locations as needed
