Are you someone who loves interacting with people every day?

Frasier is seeking an outgoing, organized, and dependable individual to join our dining team as a Part-Time Host. As the first point of contact for residents and guests, the Host plays a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient dining experience. Responsibilities include greeting and seating, managing reservations and carry-out orders, coordinating with the dining team, and supporting a clean and well-organized dining environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Weekend availability is required, with occasional weekday shifts as needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a host, front-of-house, or customer service role preferred but not required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Here's what you'll do:

Greeting and Seating Residents – 35%

  • Greet and seat residents and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Coordinate seating flow to ensure efficient service and minimize wait times.
  • Escort guests to tables, giving special attention to reservations, preferences, or accessibility needs.

Reservations and Carry-Outs – 20%

  • Answer phones, take reservations, and provide accurate information to residents and guests.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists to optimize table turnover.
  • Take carry-out orders and deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner.

Customer Service and Communication – 15%

  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless dining room operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on resident satisfaction.
  • Address questions or concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when appropriate.

Organization and Cleanliness – 15%

  • Maintain an organized and clean host area, including menus, seating charts, and reservation logs.
  • Monitor dining room appearance and assist with light bussing or resetting tables as needed.
  • Follow all facility policies, including safety, sanitation, and resident confidentiality.

Team Support & Collaboration – 10%

  • Assist servers and dining staff during peak times (e.g., running beverages, restocking supplies).
  • Support special events, large group dining, and holiday meals as needed.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment by helping wherever needed.

Administrative & Systems Support – 5%

  • Accurately log reservations, preferences, and carry-out orders in the POS or reservation system.
  • Track and share resident feedback with management for continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay Range: $17.10-18.15 per hour
