Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Schedule Management to join a major infrastructure project, reporting directly to the Project Director. This role will be responsible for leading the schedule management function, ensuring robust planning, monitoring, and control processes are in place to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide planning support across all project stages, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and competence in schedule management.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain planning processes and procedures in line with project requirements.

  • Ensure regular updates of time schedules, including development of non-standard schedules based on project-specific needs.

  • Analyse and assess the effectiveness of planning methodologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance project performance.

  • Identify, review, and resolve critical schedule issues, providing mitigation strategies and resolution plans.

  • Monitor and analyse performance across project critical paths, highlighting risks and opportunities, and reporting findings to the Project Controller.

  • Prepare and present assessments of project performance using earned value management techniques.

Experience, Knowledge, & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 10 years proven and verifiable experience in schedule management.

  • Expertise in earned value management, critical path analysis and change control.

  • Strong competency in English (B2 level or higher).

📍 Requirements and Location:

· Full right to work in the UK
