VUB is always looking for new talent to grow together with us.

The Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) has stood for freedom, equality (in every sense), and connection for over 50 years—values that are deeply rooted on our campuses among both students and staff. At VUB, you’ll find a diverse mix of personalities: pure innovators, but above all, people who are 100% their authentic selves. With around 4,000 employees, we are the largest Dutch-speaking employer in the private sector in Brussels—an international city we’re proud to be part of, and around which our four campuses are located.

VUB is also a member of EUTOPIA, an alliance of 10 like-minded European universities, all ready to reinvent themselves.

Your responsibilities

Your role is crucial in unlocking data from various applications, such as the student administration system, the research information system, the HR system, the building management system, and more. • Documentation and testing professional: Focus on documenting and thoroughly testing ETL processes.

  • Collaboration with database administrators.

  • Innovation in data analysis: Explore and evaluate opportunities offered by data analysis tools and keep our data infrastructure up to date.

You will have the opportunity to work both independently and as a valuable team member, contributing your expertise to collective success.
