Yard Crew, Senior chez TopSide Marinas

Reports to: Operations Manager

The Yard Crew, Senior�s responsibility is to perform the duties below on a regular basis and meet customer satisfaction standards as well as company performance and safety requirements. This position requires the team member to work 5 days per week and 8 hours per day. Seasonal schedule changes may take place at management discretion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Operate lift trucks, hydraulic trailers, travel lift hoist, arial lift, and work boat
2. Perform minor carpentry and painting on an as-needed basis
3. Perform some mechanical repairs on company equipment
4. Move and launch boats, checking and safely securing boats moored at the docks
5. Proficiency in using hand tools and small power tools
6. Generate revenue through billable labor for rigging, as designated
7. Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills and abilities
8. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Act with the highest level of integrity and maintain a positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Valid driveres license required
• 4+ years of experience in the performance of jobs related to maintenance and repair is preferred with rigging experience as a plus
• Must provide his/her personal electrician tools and test equipment
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Must be able to complete assigned work in an efficient and timely manner
• Strong work ethic and personal commitment
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Room for professional advancement

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work comfortably around water
• Ability to work in tight spaces
• Ability to work at heights of up to 30 feet
• Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb, crawl, bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach, grasp
