New Milford Public Schools, a growth-oriented, progressive district, has an immediate opening for the 2025-2026 school year:
BCBA
The Department of Special Services is looking for a dynamic, professional staff member to provide behavioral support across all grade level spans including preschool and 18-21. The candidate will work part-time in the district. Candidates must have experience working in the school setting and working with students with disabilities, specifically, those on the Autistic spectrum. Candidates must maintain confidentiality and have excellent skills in organization, communication and record keeping. BCBA or BCaBA certification required.

Strong collaborative skills
Understanding of behavioral challenges and effective strategies
Implement adopted program plans
Creativity to support staff using ABA methodology
Plan, develop and monitor behavior plans
Excellent record keeping and documentation
Provide training and resources for staff and family
Certification in Handle With Care
