BAE Systems FAST Labs Mixed Signal and Digital Integrated Circuit Design Organization is looking for a highly skilled and collaborative individual to manage a wide array of cutting-edge EDA tools and workflows to insure our Read Out, Digital Application Specific, Mixed Signal, Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit teams are operating at peak efficiency.
In this role you will:
- Lead teams to develop flows to support analog, digital, mixed-signal, and EM simulations, schematic and layout entry, design analysis, and verification
- Implement and maintain IP management systems
- Facilitate communication across various teams (at various locations) to improve collaboration
- Work closely with IT to ensure designers have access to necessary tools, data storage, and computing resources
- Work with EDA vendors and BAE Systems design teams to ensure we are using the tools efficiently and effectively
- Lead interaction with EDA suppliers to resolve bugs in a timely manner
- Lead efforts in developing and maintaining in-house software/scripts and/or explore substitutes from 3rd party vendors
- Interface with external foundries to facilitate resolution of PDK issues
