WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF A COOK AT THE HARVEST CAFE AT KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE?

The Harvest Café Cook is responsible for the knowledge of preparing raw and cooked foods to be presented with the goal of spreading happiness and creating an exceptional experience for our guests. They prepare, produce, and present food items for the guests’ consumption. They uphold all health codes and restaurant standards for sanitation and food safety..


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                                           

    Cook and prepare a variety of food products

    Understand and abide by the company’s cooking methods, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures

    Comply with all food safety standards

    Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation

    Willing to assist in other food service areas

    Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays

COMPETENCIES:

    Embody our vision, mission, and values

    Cooking experience in a fast-paced environment

    ServSafe certification preferred

    Previous kitchen experience necessary

    Basic cooking methods

    Teamwork

    Proficient written and verbal skills

    Ability to read and follow a recipe

    Ability to multitask

    Strong attention to detail
