Scope of Position: Responsible for coordinating graphic production on individual jobs with other team members and departments, as specified by job tasks.


Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports; however, working with and coordinating the work of other team members is necessary. 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands and implements ECI’s values of customer intimacy and quality.
  • Coordination of graphic production schedules implemented by work orders.
  • Serves as the first point of contact on specific jobs and makes sure proper job procedures are followed on those projects.
  • Coordinating with other graphic team members & other departments to ensure that completion of graphics meets project time schedules.
  • Assist with ordering and scheduling materials from vendors and other departments for timely and efficient graphic production.
  • Coordinate inventory management of graphic materials with other team members, ensuring materials are accounted for & properly stocked.  
  • Ensuring proper graphic numbering, archiving, and organization is used; assist with maintaining accurate dimensions & production notes on final graphic layouts.
  • Keep current with graphic production techniques; understand the use of graphic production equipment & tools, computers & software.
  • Is professional and considerate when communicating with fellow workers. 
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.


Requirements

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. 


Education and/or Experience: Associate degree or higher, or equivalent degree from a technical school; three (3) to seven (7) years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 


General Skills:  

  • Knowledge - Working knowledge of graphic sign and display production techniques and materials.  
  • Computer Skills – Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office 365, and willing to learn to use an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Self-paced ability to work in 8-hour shifts. 

Physical Demands: No special skills are required; May stand for long periods of time at a workbench; May be asked to perform light physical duties, lift graphic materials, climb ladders, and work with chemicals. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Employees may be exposed to skin irritation and fumes from chemical solutions and inks. There is also a risk of cuts and bruises while operating equipment, handling supplies, or working with finished products. Additionally, loud noise from fabrication shop equipment may be present. To perform work safely, functional near, far, and peripheral vision, as well as adequate hearing, may be required as directed by the supervisor.
