WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage the overall community (or communities) construction schedule to ensure the timely completion of houses in a quality manner
  • Scheduling, quality control-phase punch, cost control, safety, regular customer communication, orientation, orientation list, one-month list, invoice approval, update plans, fill out and send in Neal schedule, frame walk with the customer, homeowner warranty, community/site cleanliness
  • Manage trade partners while continually monitoring and evaluating for safety, scheduling, quality, and cost control
  • Maintain a clean and orderly worksite that meets the Neal standards and is visually appealing
  • Check homes thoroughly before all stages of construction
  • Check thoroughly before pouring the slab, hanging sheetrock, and setting grade
  • Coordinate invoices as required by the Accounting Department
  • Provide above-average customer service during the construction process and regular customer communication
  • Ensure a safe worksite and comply with all safety guidelines and other regulatory requirements
  • Encourage and foster a team environment with effective communication and problem-solving when needed
  • Continuing education through appropriate seminars, conferences, and classes

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Business, or other related fields is preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with a production homebuilder
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20/60/100 pounds regularly
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain
  • Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • The ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
  • Continuous walking, standing, and moving about
  • Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions
