JOB SUMMARY:

The Recruiting Strategist is responsible for converting inbound, organic, and paid marketing leads into committed recruits through streamlined systems and strong collaboration. This position focuses on optimizing the candidate journey, from initial inquiry to selection, by managing recruiting platforms, ensuring accurate data flow, and supporting the execution of our recruiting systems. The Recruiting Strategist will work closely with marketing, operations, and sales leadership to identify trends in recruiting data, uncover training gaps, and drive improvements across the recruiting process. This position is a hands-on, cross-functional role that blends execution with strategy in a fast-paced environment. The Recruiting Strategist reports to the Vice President of Communications and Government Relations and provides excellent customer service to team members and customers while demonstrating the company values and supporting the mission.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Qualify and nurture leads from marketing campaigns and sourcing channels, identifying high-converting sources and collaborating with the Director of Marketing on targeted outreach plans.
  • Conduct interviews using the recruiting scorecard to assess fit, communicate expectations, and inspire buy-in; partner with District Sales Leaders for final interviews and placement decisions.
  • Guide candidates through the full selection process, collaborating with team leaders to match them with the right manager, region, or opportunity, and ensuring completion of LMS training for onboarding.
  • Track candidate progress in the CRM, analyze funnel and conversion metrics to identify drop-offs and bottlenecks, and implement strategies to improve efficiency at each stage. (Partial marketing here, but more Aisha)
  • Partner with the Senior Sales Operations Manager to streamline recruiting and onboarding processes within the CRM, including forms, scheduling tools, and workflows.
  • Maintain follow-up and engagement post-placement to support retention and success.
    • Maintain, optimize, and track job postings on platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, university boards, etc.).
    • Research and recommend new recruiting platforms and strategies
    • Become proficient in recruiting tools and platforms through ongoing learning
    • Serve as a liaison between recruiting, marketing, and operations to identify system and training gaps
    • Support recruiters with job postings, descriptions, and resources
    • Ensure compliance and consistency across all online job postings
    • Coordinate with the Global Director of Campus Relations to align on current campus needs and goals
    • Attend and assess campus events and career fairs to identify recruiting best practices and resource gaps
    • Collaborate with Senior Sales Operations Manager to optimize systems and create training for career fairs, job postings, recruiting training gaps, recruiting resources, etc.
    • Collaborate with the Alumni team to explore opportunities for lead generation from alumni families
    • Develop outreach strategies to encourage second-generation participation; contact these families to gauge interest and build a relationship to recruit them on the team
    • Coordinate with Sales Support to contact early leavers and their parents, attempt to have them fill out feedback form; follow up on issues as needed
    • Review & evaluate early leaver & parent feedback on our program; suggest improvements to be made
    • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Minimum five years of experience in recruiting 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
