Cooper Farms is currently seeking General Production team members to join our team in Van Wert.
SHIFT HOURS: (1st shift) Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm
(2nd shift) Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am
(3rd shift) Sunday through Friday 11:00pm-6:30am
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.00-$19.50 with a potential increase at 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
Production:
- Operating and maintaining knowledge of the departmental equipment and operations
- Ensuring that all assigned procedures are carried out in an efficient manner in accordance with production/quality/safety guideline
- Working with others to ensure all areas are up to standard and reporting any abnormalities.
- Accurately completing all required paperwork
Sanitation:
- Cleaning and sanitizing all production equipment, machinery, conveyors, and floors
- Being responsible for labeling, mixing, handling and proper usage of cleaning chemicals.
- Emptying all trash containers.
- Wearing all required PPE and rotate with other team members as directed.
