THE ROLE: Drafter/Detailer
LOCATION: Tolleson, AZ
REPORTS TO: Engineering Lead
POSITION TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt
OUR OPPORTUNITY:
The Drafter/Detailer performs a variety of drafting activities including preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings and preparing/updating installation drawings for projects.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs.
- Convert 2D AutoCAD drawings to 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
- Create cut lists and hardware lists.
- Assist customers installers with assembly instructions and support.
- Answer questions from the shop as they arise through production
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of job-related experience.
- Must be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD or similar program.
- Ability to read and understand technical prints and drawings.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
- ERP experience is a plus but not required.
