Who You Are
  • You’re an experienced audio professional with 3–5 years in podcast production or a related field, and you bring a proven ability to work across multiple formats, from interview and narrative-style podcasts. Your portfolio demonstrates versatility and a keen ear for high-quality production.
  • You’re fluent in Pro Tools and comfortable managing complex sessions, or have a strong working knowledge of other DAWs that can be transferable to ProTools. Familiarity with tools such as iZotope RX and Descript is a plus. You also have hands-on experience with remotely recorded audio, understanding the unique challenges it presents.
  • You excel under pressure and manage multiple projects at once, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality. In our environment, each engineer outputs several podcasts per week, so speed, organization, and attention to detail are second nature to you.
  • You’re a natural problem-solver, able to troubleshoot software issues, audio hardware failures, and remote file-transfer challenges with external guests with calm efficiency.
  • You’re also a team player, someone with strong communication skills who sees feedback as a tool for improvement and collaboration, not criticism.
  • You have strong communication abilities and can effectively and professionally represent the company in guest interactions.
  • Finally, you’re curious and proactive, bringing ideas, asking questions, and looking for new ways to improve the process. We’re not a traditional podcast shop, and you’re excited to contribute to shaping something different.

  • What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Raw Audio Preparation - Syncing audio files for producers to work on content edits
  • Editing & Mixing - Ensuring the delivery of high-quality podcast audio by cleaning up content cuts made by producers, mixing and mastering audio through proper EQ, compression and de-noising techniques, ensuring audio is exported at target loudness standards
  • Creative Enhancements - Sourcing appropriate music and SFX for trailers and scripted storytelling content
  • File Management - Organizing and managing session files and backup procedures
  • Collaboration & Programming - Working closely with producers on programming needs such as planning, producing, scripting, and editing as required

  • If you think your experience is most of the way there, we’d still love to meet you!
