Essential Functions:

· Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.

· Provide clinical leadership and supervision to psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, addiction medicine providers, and primary care providers.

· Deliver .4 FTE direct care, maintaining an active caseload to support access and demonstrate best practices.

· Establish, implement, and enforce medical and psychiatric procedures that promote safe, effective, and efficient delivery of care.

· Promote integration of medical services with behavioral health and case management, strengthening whole-person care delivery.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards (e.g., COA, HRSA, Pharmacy Board).

· Lead accreditation readiness and quality improvement initiatives to strengthen client safety, clinical effectiveness, and performance related to psychiatric and medical services.

· Oversee performance and quality improvement processes, including peer review, provider evaluations, incident reviews, and adherence to evidence-based practices.

· Advance adoption of measurement-based care, integrated models, and safety protocols across service lines.

· Recruit, mentor, coach, and evaluate medical staff to promote clinical excellence, accountability, and professional growth.

· Identify and address gaps in the quality medical and psychiatry care at the individual and systems level.

· Foster a team-based culture of collaboration between prescribers, counselors, and case managers to ensure continuity and coordination of care.

· Assure fiscal accountability for assigned programs and services, collaborating with Finance to ensure accurate documentation, billing compliance, and budget performance.

· Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external partners, payers, and community stakeholders.

· Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging.

· Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

 

Education & Experience:

· MD or DO with an active and unrestricted Ohio medical license (or eligibility to obtain).

· Board certification in Psychiatry required; additional certification in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred.

· 5+ years of clinical experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role.

· State DEA registration and BLS certification required.

 

Qualifications:

· Familiarity with nonprofit, behavioral health, and/or medical care settings serving diverse populations.

· Effective communication skills across all modes

· Strong sense of personal accountability with the ability to delegate where needed.

· Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people

· Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment

· Flexible; able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends, as desired to meet the needs of clients

· Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently.

· Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records, etc.

· Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.

· Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and any other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test.
