ROLE
The Accessories Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving strategic growth and brand development across key wholesale accounts in North America. This role oversees the execution of seasonal initiatives, manages sell-through performance, and cultivates strong relationships with retail partners to ensure the consistent elevation of Dolce & Gabbana’s Accessories category. The Senior Account Executive will serve as a critical liaison between corporate strategy and field execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards and commercial objectives.
MISSION
- Lead the execution of seasonal business strategies across assigned wholesale accounts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Drive sell-through performance by analyzing sales data, identifying opportunities, and implementing tailored action plans.
- Partner with retailers to optimize product assortment, visual presentation, and promotional activity.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of in-store brand ambassadors and selling specialists.
- Manage freelance staffing budgets and scheduling to support key selling periods and activations.
- Collaborate with store management and corporate teams to plan and execute product launches, trunk shows, and special events.
- Ensure brand integrity at point of sale through consistent implementation of merchandising guidelines.
- Negotiate premium space and visibility for Accessories across women’s and men’s categories.
- Provide regular reporting to corporate on account performance, staffing updates, and market trends.
- Support the Education team in delivering product knowledge and brand training across doors.
- Travel regularly to key markets to maintain strong relationships and oversee execution.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in wholesale account management, retail sales development, or merchandising, preferably within the luxury fashion or accessories sector.
- Proven track record in driving sell-through performance and managing multi-door retail partnerships.
- Strong understanding of retail dynamics, product positioning, and client experience within the luxury environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and retail operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently from a home office and travel extensively across assigned territory.
- Flexible schedule to meet seasonal business needs and support strategic initiatives.
The salary range for this role is $90K–$100K annually, plus variable commission. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
