A Day in the Life

Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions, established over ten years ago, partners with hospitals to improve operational efficiency and drive transformational change—focusing on catheterization labs, operating rooms, care pathways, and team development.
The Business Process Analyst in the Integrated Health Solutions Digital Health team analyzes and optimizes clinical and organizational workflows while acting as a product specialist to represent digital health solutions to healthcare stakeholders. This role combines technical expertise, strategic insight, and strong communication skills to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency. They also use data analysis to drive continuous improvement and support evidence-based decision-making. This is a hybrid role but based in Spain with a willingness to occasional travels if needed.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Analyze, document, and optimize clinical and organizational processes to support digital transformation in hospitals
  • Act as a product specialist, representing digital health solutions to clinical and management teams with compelling presentations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, hospital management, and IT to align solutions with clinical and operational needs
  • Design, configure, and deploy digital platforms ensuring interoperability with hospital systems and medical devices
  • Conduct data analysis to extract insights, support evidence-based decisions, and define KPIs to measure impact
  • Provide training and change management support to ensure smooth adoption and long-term engagement
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based customer relationships, supporting continuous improvement and compliance

 

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biological Sciences, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in the healthcare sector, preferably involving digital health solutions, medical devices, or hospital IT environments
  • Proven expertise in business process analysis, workflow mapping, and digital solution implementation including interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR , DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)
  • Experience delivering product demonstrations and supporting commercial or pre-sales activities in healthcare environments
  • Practical experience in data analysis, including the ability to extract insights and define KPIs to measure impact
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both clinical and management stakeholders
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. French, intermediate level, would be considered an asset
