2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
OR
3rd Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00am

JOB SUMMARY
Operates Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions of automotive parts, inspection fixtures, and machine jigs. The CMM Inspector follows established inspection programs, records results, and ensures that parts meet specifications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Reads blueprints and understands GD&T to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications.
· Operates CMM equipment to run existing programs for part inspection.
· Uses measurement tools such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators to verify part dimensions.
· Records inspection results accurately and compares measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
· Notifies appropriate personnel of discrepancies or nonconforming conditions.
· Assists with visual and bench inspections of parts and assemblies.
· Maintains CMM and inspection equipment, ensuring cleanliness and calibration.
· Follows established quality procedures and safety standards.
· Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or TTD Leadership to meet business objectives.
· Stop production if unsafe parts, actions, or poor-quality conditions exist.
Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training in quality, machining, or metrology preferred.
· Experience operating CMM equipment or working in a quality/inspection role.
· Ability to read and interpret drawings / GD&T, follow routers, and use basic math for calculations.
· Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
