Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $89,980.00. - $119,314.00 Full Salary Range: $89,980.00. - $161,017.00. Annually

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Stability & Purpose: Serve a dedicated patient population—City of Greensboro employees—without the uncertainty of private practice or hospital rotations.
Collaborative Care: Work under a contract physician while supervising an experienced occupational health nurse and office manager.

About the Role:
As the clinic’s lead PA/NP, you will:
Provide occupational medical care for City employees; Perform pre-placement physicals, drug and alcohol testing, hearing/vision exams, and fitness-for-duty evaluations; Deliver immunizations, shot clinics, and health screenings; Supervise daily clinic operations and staff (nurse and office manager); Collaborate with departments, case managers, and outside providers on employee health concerns, workers’ compensation, and wellness programs; Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards. This job is Exempt and is not subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Health & Safety Division Manager -- Oversee all aspects of employee health and safety for the City, including occupational health services, safety compliance, and clinic staff.
Assistant Director of People & Culture (Health & Safety Focus). Provide strategic leadership, shaping long-term employee wellness, workplace safety, and occupational health policies across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a fully-accredited educational program for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners
- Nationally certified by an appropriate credentialing agency for PA or NP.
- Current NC License to practice medical acts
- Licensed as a Physician's Assistant, PA, or Nurse Practitioner, NP.
- 4+ years of experience working as a medical professional in a medical setting.
- Progressive experience in working at an Occupational Health Clinic, Emergency Room, Family Health Clinic or Orthopedic clinic.
- Prior Supervisory experience
- Computer skills, including electronic medical records, Word, and Excel
- Must be able to meet and follow the current Ethics requirements as outlined by the American Academy of Physician Assistants or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
