Scope:

Mom & Pops is a well-established quick-service grill and convenience store. A longtime local favorite, the store is known for its made-to-order meals, friendly service, and consistent quality. As part of the Palmetto Propane family, Mom & Pops upholds a strong commitment to community, reliability, and customer care.

We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cook to support daily store operations, ensure accurate transactions, prepare food safely, and contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere.

Duties and Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:

· Receive payments by cash, credit, check, voucher, or electronic transfer.

· Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change as needed.

· Accurately count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.

· Prepare and cook made-to-order food items while following food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.

· Stock and replenish merchandise and food items as needed.

· Assist with inventory control and proper rotation of perishable items.

· Answer customer questions and provide helpful, friendly service.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Weekend Availability (required)

· Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Prior cashier, cook, or customer service experience preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Positive, energetic, and professional attitude.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

· Availability to work 20-40 hours per week.
