Slot Performance Manager chez Rivers Casino Des Plaines

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly oversees the slot system operations and supervises all slot repair team members in the general maintenance repair of all slot equipment, ensuring all activities are performed according to established company and departmental policies, procedures and goals.  
• Fosters an environment of open communication and collaboration within the department, as well as with Player Services, Marketing, Compliance and Regulatory agencies (IGB, GLI, etc)
• Responsible for the installation, tracking, numbering and compliance with all slot machines. 
• Oversees analysis of financial performance of slot machines, generate standard and ad-hoc reports, and make recommendations necessary to optimize floor performance through conversions and new game purchases
• Responsible for oversight of all planning and coordination of slot machine installs and conversions. 
• Negotiates and approves purchase of all supplies and materials used in the slot repair shop, in   accordance with monthly and annual budgets. 
• Provides direction and leadership to team members to help promote team member development
• Initiates and coordinates training procedures and methods to ensure a standardized and uniform training of all changes to improve or modify equipment and meet current and future requirements. 
• Role model for delivering excellent guest service at all times and ability to maintain highest standards for execution of Inspired Service across the department 
• Resolves all disputes the slot technicians or slot technical shift managers are not able to settle, or refers the problem to the Vice President of Slots if still unable to resolve. 
• Ensures all slot machines are secure and tamper-proof through the use of alarm systems and anti-cheating devices
• Identifies slot cheaters or slot technicians working in an unethical manner and deals with them according to departmental policy and in cooperation with casino services. 
• Assists the Vice President of Slots in product and market planning. 
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

• 5+ years slot technician experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical circuitry, electronics, metal fabrication, welding.
• Experience with Auto CAD
• Experience with player tracking systems (ACSC, SDS, Oasis, etc) 
• Experience with Casino Management systems. 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular spreadsheet management and manipulation using Microsoft Excel including the use of mathematical and statistical formulas 
• Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
• Ability to be a TEAM player
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
