Job Responsibilities
· Coordinate IT projects, including planning, scheduling, and executing tasks to meet project deadlines as directed.
· Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance while minimizing downtime.
· Provide technical support and training to staff on new hardware and software.
· Work with the IT manager to maintain IT inventory, including procurement of hardware and software, and maintain an accurate asset management registry.
· Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely, and via phone.
· Keep abreast of the latest IT trends and advancements to implement technology improvements.
· Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
· Work with the IT manager to maintain annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
· Monitor internet and email use to ensure compliance with company policies.
· Promote practical, everyday security habits (strong authentication awareness, phishing awareness, data handling, password security) and translate policy into simple steps for non-technical staff.
· Assist with the creation and management of user accounts and access.
· Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of computer hardware, software, systems, and networks.
· Hands-on experience with hardware diagnostics, repair, and physical network setup, including cabling and termination.
Job Requirements
· Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT coordination or a similar role.
· Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and database systems.
· Demonstrated expertise in IT project management and coordination; Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently meet established deadlines.
· Proficiency in IT service management software and tools.
· Knowledge of system security and data protection best practices.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to provide technical support and training to staff.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
· Requires travel to multiple company locations; periodic overnight stays for training may occur.
· Physical requirements include standing, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
· Comfortable working with tools and ladders for tasks such as mounting displays and running cable.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience managing Microsoft 365 tenants, including user provisioning, license management, and security configurations.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Microsoft compliance/security centers.
· Ability to automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or Power Automate.
· Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
· Understanding of Microsoft licensing models and cost optimization strategies.
· Experience building or maintaining apps using Microsoft PowerApps, including Canvas and Model-driven apps.
