Responsibilities
2. Prepares and processes requisitions, work orders, deposits, and requests for payments; monitors expenditures and incoming payments from participating cities.
3. Collects, compiles, and analyzes information from various sources on a variety of specialized topics related to the program; assists with the preparation and dissemination of reports.
4. Develops, coordinates, and maintains record keeping, filing systems, and program databases; assists in compiling and analyzing data for the generation of reports.
5. Maintains confidential files, processes mail and answers telephone calls, greets and directs visitors.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited high school/GED Program. Five (5) years of work related experience or 75 hours from an accredited college or university or combination of the two.
Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public. Must acquire 40-hour HAZWOPER certification within six months of employment. Mandatory Hazmat physical required during first two weeks of employment and annually thereafter.
Standard office environment. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking and ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., unassisted.
