Responsible for coordination of client and community facing food access programs across SPFC sites. The coordinator will oversee and assist with all daily activities including but not limited to mobile pantries, including setup and stocking of the pantry, train and direct volunteers during packing and product sorting events, and assist navigating clients through the pantry. Ensures staff, volunteer, and client needs are met, and policies and procedures are followed. Ensures positive interactions between program staff and volunteers, donors, clients, and partners. Responsible for record keeping all program activities. Reports to the Director of Food Access.

Schedule
40 Hours Per Week
Weekday schedule varies, depending upon program needs.
Hours may include 8:00am – 6:30 pm Four Days per week, future program needs may include Friday 8:00am – 6:30pm and Occasionally Saturday 8:00am – 1:00 pm.
Position Responsibilities
Coordinate the daily operations of client and community facing food access programs.
Provide support to Program Director in coordination, establishment and expansion of food access partnerships.
Follow all program guidelines for USDA food distribution. Responsible for site compliance and record keeping.
Ensure compliance with DOH regulations: Maintain all required records, policies, and logs.
Ensure all food and non-food items are handled, stored and distributed in a safe and sanitary manner. Follow and maintain all health and sanitation codes.
Coordinate the scheduling of volunteers by using the provided volunteer database and implement daily training of volunteers in preparation for program activities.
Lead program operations with the support of volunteer groups ranging from small to large groups.
Facilitate drive-thru and indoor events: Plan, publicize, and set up drive-thru and indoor events, oversee and assist with distribution, break down and clean up upon completion. Ensure safe and efficient distributions.
Responsible for traffic control when necessary.
Utilize client database system, to track and maintain all services provided to clients
Ensure complete and accurate reporting and documentation of all distributions.
Maintain a safe, clean, attractive environment for staff, volunteers and clients.
Work with the People and Culture department to recruit new volunteers, provide volunteer training, and assist with scheduling and oversight of volunteer groups to support program needs. Submit volunteer data through utilization of Better Impact.
Administer volunteer survey and act on results.
Work with Food Bank to coordinate delivery of food in appropriate quantities for program events. Transport food and supplies to/from mobile locations.
Perform partner site visits.
Attend and participate in agency events.
Provide oversight and participate in all pop-up pantry off site operations
Assist with warehouse, Food Bank, or other program functionality and duties as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director.

Education & Experience:
Must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Have a valid, clean Florida driver’s license. Ability to drive cargo van and/or 16ft truck strongly preferred.
Prior experience in social service field or working with clients in need, strongly preferred.
Knowledge of methods, techniques, and equipment used in warehouse operation preferred. Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift.
Possess or obtain food handler certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift at least 30 pounds or more and have ability and stamina to repeatedly lift 10-30 pounds daily.
