H2O Innovation is seeking a new Operator to join our team in Houston, Huntsville, and Livingston TX. Our next colleague will have a full-time & permanent position. In this role, you will accomplish a variety of duties while conducting regular inspection of our plants and supporting water & wastewater treatment projects.

The Day-to-Day
- Ensure the safe, compliant, and consistent operation of all water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of treatment plants and pumping stations in accordance with established standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the collection and distribution systems as well as the treatment plants.
- Create and initiate work orders for operational servicing and repairs.
- Prepare and manage activity and work orders for both preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Order goods and equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Provide guidance and support to plant team members.
- Communicate with operators, clients, and management regarding any issues that may affect the treatment process, compliance, or public health.
- Support water and wastewater treatment projects by assisting in the development of project plans and SOPs, as well as justifying and executing project requests.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships and communication between operators and customers.
The Skills We Are Looking For
- Minimum Class D License required.
- A CDL is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn all aspects of the water and wastewater field.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Walking & Standing: 4-8 hr/day;
- Bending & Reaching: 4-8 hr/day;
- Pushing & pulling: 4-8 hr/day;
- Driving 4-6 hr/day;
- Physical Effort: does not lift weights more than 100 lbs;
- Environmental Stress: busy atmosphere, working inside and outside.
The successful candidate will have to pass through a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
