We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for the Service & Home Modification Department. This role involves managing service requests efficiently, scheduling and assigning work to Technicians, handling invoicing and order entry, and providing initial and after-sales support. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison across departments and locations, ensuring clear communication and operational alignment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries related to medical and mobility equipment, including parts, warranties, repairs, and home modifications.
  • Manage incoming service requests, prioritize effectively, and escalate complex issues to Field Service Technicians when needed.
  • Utilize and train staff on field service management systems, fleet tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • Drive operational efficiency by monitoring service turnaround times, coordinating follow-ups, and assigning urgent requests.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell products, services, and extended warranties.
  • Convert leads into completed home modification installations through consultation, quoting, and coordination with Sales and Installation teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, and warranty claims.
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to source parts, track orders, and update pricing.
  • Support inventory and account accuracy through ERP documentation and reporting.
  • Stay current on equipment, services, promotions, and funding programs to inform customer solutions.
  • Promote workplace safety and adherence to health and safety policies.

  • Skilled in mediation, conflict resolution, and working under pressure
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to interpret technical diagrams
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and capable of both leading and following direction
  • Positive, personable, and composed in dynamic or high-pressure situations
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic and accuracy-driven task execution

Education & experience

  • Highschool diploma
  • 4+ years external or 1+ years internal customer service or call center experience
  • Proven knowledge in company products, services, and fulfillment channels strongly preferred

Location: South Edmonton

Workplace Type: On-site

Job Type: Permanent. Full-Time

Availability: 5 days/week Monday through Friday
