ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
At Salvos Stores, we’re not just a retailer — we’re a community of changemakers working together to make a real difference. As the retail arm of The Salvation Army, we’re dedicated to raising funds that support life-changing programs for those in need. We operate over 400 Stores across Australia (including online), offering a sustainable shopping experience through the recycling of pre-loved items.
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our diverse and collaborative team as Volunteer Textile Sorter as part of our new and innovative Project Boomerang at Carole Park QLD. Join Salvos Boomerang and be part of Australia’s first AI-driven textile sorting & decommissioning initiative, transforming unwanted fabrics into valuable resources for the circular economy.
