Weekend Front Desk Support – Tennis Center
Do you enjoy helping others and engaging with all members of the community? Consider joining the team as a weekend Front Desk Support at BHTC. We are looking for dependable, self-directed staff committed to providing exceptional customer service at our facilities. As the first point of contact, you will greet patrons both in person and over the phone, focusing on creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone. Bilingual staff who regularly use their language skills are also eligible for a bilingual pay incentive!
Position Location:
Babette Horenstein Tennis Center (15707 SW Walker Rd., Beaverton)
Scheduling:
This weekend Front Desk Support position is for the following 3 shifts (with the opportunity to sub on other days if desired):
- Fridays from 5-9:15pm*
- Saturdays/Sundays from 1:45-7:15pm*
*Please note: Shifts may be longer on event days and not offered on Holidays.
Pay Rate Range:
$18.71-$19.84 Hourly
Pay rate range includes a 3% bilingual pay incentive available for staff who regularly use their bilingual or multilingual skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet the public and provide information about schedules, registration, and programs
- Answer multi-line phones and direct calls or take messages
- Operate office equipment such as cash register, computer, and copier
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, welcoming environment
- Practice safe work habits and contribute to the safety of self, co-workers, and the public
- Respect diversity in the workplace
- Sort and file documents and records, alphabetically, numerically, or by other prescribed methods
- Perform general clerical support, such as preparing and formatting forms, letters, and reports from rough drafts or detailed instructions
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform clerical work, maintain records, and compile information for reports
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
- Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
Supervision:
This position receives direct supervision from the Center Supervisor and exercises no supervision over other employees.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
