Fueling Success in this Role 

VP Racing is seeking a Junior Sales Executive to join our high-performance team at our Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career sales professional ready to take the next step in a high-growth, competitive industry. 


As a Junior Sales Executive, you’ll take ownership of driving sales opportunities by cultivating new business, managing inbound leads, and building strong customer relationships. You will work directly with our Sales Leaders across multiple divisions - Race Fuels, Consumer Products, International, Branding, and Chemicals - while sharpening your skills in solution selling, CRM management, and strategic account development. This role is designed as the foundation for future advancement into higher-level sales leadership positions.


Essential Functions 

  • Actively prospect, research, and engage potential customers to build strong sales pipelines. 
  • Qualify leads, conduct discovery, and support the movement of opportunities through the sales funnel. 
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and presentations to promote VP Racing products and programs. 
  • Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline management in Salesforce CRM. 
  • Collaborate with senior sales executives to strategize on account growth and key opportunities. 
  • Provide product knowledge and promotional details to prospects, ensuring a consultative sales approach. 
  • Represent VP Racing Fuels with professionalism and enthusiasm at trade shows, events, and customer meetings as needed.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor awareness.

Minimum Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise. If this describes you and you meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Two (2) years of prior sales or customer-facing business experience (inside sales, call center, retail sales, or account management). 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce CRM experience a plus. 
  • Ambition to grow into advanced sales roles within 1–2 years.
