We are Hiring for a Part-Time 1:30-7 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Activities Assistant come have fun and get paid!

We are currently interviewing for part-time positions. Must be available to work weekends. Only outgoing, energetic, talkative, engaging, and warm candidates with professional appearance will be considered. Must be compassionate and love seniors.

Position Summary
Assists in the planning and implementation of a program of meaningful activities, appropriate to the needs and interests of the participants. Helps to provide programs that promote the creative, spiritual, social and intellectual wellbeing of each participant. In some communities, may assist clients in activities of daily living as needs demand.
Essential Duties
- Assists with the delivery of the life enrichment plan to include programming and implementation of community events
- Assists in the preparation and purchase of supplies and equipment as needed.
- Promotes exercise and wellness programs offered within the Community
- Observes and communicates information to others directly involved in care regarding resident needs, desires, and responses to programs and community life events.
- Maintains records of resident participation in events.
- Plans resident group excursions and drives the bus for community life trips.
- Performs various administrative tasks as assigned.
- Requires schedule flexibility, including ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications & Experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Activity professional coursework preferred.
- 3+ months experience with group and/or event planning
- Must possess basic computer proficiency in MS Office
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Covid-19 vaccination required
