Responsibilities:Job Description Summary
We’re seeking a Social Media Intern to join our Marketing team and help us build brand love across digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in CPG brand marketing, content creation, community management, and user-generated content (UGC) while working on a diverse portfolio of brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of Eagle Foods’ brand social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn).
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content that reflects each brand’s unique voice and personality.
- Monitor and engage with online communities by responding to comments, DMs, and tagged content.
- Identify, source, and manage UGC (photos, videos, reviews, influencer collaborations) to repurpose across brand channels in a way that builds authenticity and trust.
- Track and organize UGC libraries for future use, ensuring proper permissions and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Help identify emerging social trends, audio, and formats to inspire timely and relevant brand content.
- Contribute to campaign planning and brainstorming sessions, including influencer partnerships and retailer activations.
- Partner with creative, shopper marketing, and brand teams to ensure consistent storytelling across channels.
- Compile weekly and monthly social media performance reports highlighting engagement, reach, follower growth, UGC performance, and key learnings.
- Research competitors and category trends to identify whitespace opportunities for Eagle Foods brands.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills with a knack for social-first storytelling.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred.
- Basic knowledge of analytics and scheduling platforms (Meta Business Suite, Agorapulse, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Interest in influencer and UGC marketing is a plus.
- Passion for food, snacks, and digital culture.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced CPG environment.
