The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Equipment Technician / Hi-Reach Mobile Technician to join our service team. In this role, you’ll maintain, inspect, and repair a wide range of equipment — from boom lifts and scissor lifts to mobile heaters and other rental equipment. You’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for our customers, while enjoying steady, hands-on work with opportunities for overtime and ongoing training.

What You’ll Do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections (including 90-day and annual inspections)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and cooling systems
• Complete oil, fluid, and filter changes, lubrication, and other service tasks per manufacturer guidelines
• Travel to customer sites to safely and efficiently handle equipment repairs
• Maintain accurate service records and logs
• Communicate with supervisors, teammates, and customers about job status and equipment needs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service truck in clean, safe condition
• Support fellow technicians and assist with general shop duties
• Commit to at least 20 hours of annual training to keep skills sharp

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years mechanical or maintenance experience (construction, or rental equipment a plus)
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
• Team player who’s reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Valid, clean California Driver’s License (CADL)

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work safely at heights and on uneven terrain
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment properly throughout the day
