Role Overview:

Due to internal growth at Medserv, we are actively looking for a Patient Administrator to join our Remote Practice Management team based in our Haywards Heath Office. You will be working closely with a Medical Secretary ensuring you are meeting and exceeding client expectations. On a daily basis you will be managing a high volume of calls (circa 50 - 100 communications) from patients, secretaries and other medical professionals.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing calls from patients, secretaries, and other medical professionals
  • Resolving Customer Queries
  • Processing Payments
  • Issuing correspondence to patients
  • Scanning & Filing Sensitive Documents
  • Assisting with aspects of clinic management
  • Managing internal and external email queries
  • Working as part of a team
  • Dealing with ad-hoc duties as they arise


Requirements and Skills:

  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Previous experience in medical reception, administration, or customer service (e.g., hospitality/travel industry)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with experience handling phone enquiries
  • Familiarity with clinical systems (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced medical setting
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support the team as needed
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and quickly build rapport

Additional Info:

  • This is a full-time position with hours of 9am - 5pm based in the office with the option for Hybrid working after 9 months service.
  • All offers of employment are subject to a valid work permit
  • Role commences immediately
