The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop comprehensive project plans and strategies specific to EPIC rig manufacturing—detailing timelines for engineering, procurement, production, testing, and delivery milestones to achieve business goals related to production volumes, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise the program processes, including daily operations, production planning, and scheduling, to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
- Ensure program consistently meets or exceeds quality and safety standards by establishing and enforcing quality control measures. This includes compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage organizational methodologies (such as Agile or Waterfall) and maintain alignment with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams including engineers, machinists, quality controllers, and external vendors; coordinate resource allocation to optimize workflow and minimize production delays.
- Lead cross-functional project teams: Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, HR, Finance, Operations) and external partners (vendors, contractors) to define scope, milestones, deliverables, and resources.
- Manage budgets and cost estimates for EPIC rig projects, monitor expenditures, and implement effective controls to avoid overruns and ensure profitability.
- Monitor project progress: Track key performance indicators, identify and resolve bottlenecks, communicate updates, and adapt plans as necessary to drive project success.
- Identify project risks unique to EPIC rig manufacturing—such as supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, and technical challenges—and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with safety and compliance officers.
- Ensure EPIC rig projects comply with industry codes, governmental regulations, and internal safety policies throughout every phase of production and installation.
- Coordinate frequent progress updates and project reviews with stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and field operations teams; facilitate clear communication and manage change requests efficiently.
- Support organizational change initiatives by developing training materials, conducting workshops, and ensuring a smooth transition to new systems, processes, or spaces.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree or relevant certifications such as PMP, FMP, or CFM is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in well servicing industry, manufacturing or fabrication operations, including significant time spent in program leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and facility operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; able to cultivate productive relationships across all organizational levels.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive, resourceful approach.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost analysis, and contract management.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, technical manuals, and regulatory codes.
