The System Administrator – ServiceNow is an individual contributor role responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s ServiceNow platform and Zenoss monitoring system (or its replacement in the future). This position partners with IT colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external customers to deliver accurate data collection, reporting, dashboards, and analytics that support business objectives. The role also implements new ServiceNow functionality, ensuring systems remain aligned with evolving organizational needs and best practices.
Responsibilities:Platform Administration & Configuration
· Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules, including forms, tables, flows, and service catalog.
· Administer and support Zenoss (or future monitoring replacement), ensuring system reliability and effectiveness.
· Apply upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks to sustain platform performance and security.
Data & Reporting Support
· Collect, analyze, and interpret data to address business and customer reporting needs.
· Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics within ServiceNow.
· Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all data and analytics outputs.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
· Partner with IT team members and business stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver appropriate ServiceNow solutions.
· Provide responsive system support to internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues in a timely manner.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of system capabilities with organizational processes.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
· Evaluate and implement new ServiceNow features to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
· Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and expanded use of system functionality.

Qualifications:Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
Experience
· 3+ years’ experience in ServiceNow system administration and configuration.
· Experience with IT monitoring systems such as Zenoss or similar tools.
· Background in workflow automation, reporting, and analytics support.
· Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Technical Skills
· Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow administration and ITIL processes.
Behavioral Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to support technical and non-technical audiences.
· Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
· Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Preferred
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
· ITIL Foundation Certification
