Overview:
 
The Sales Manager leads the Design Consultant team, building strong relationships with prospective clients and guiding them through every step of the buying process. This is a working leadership role — combining field coaching, training, and operational oversight to drive sales success, ensure accurate and complete contracts, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
 
What You’ll Do
  • Provide daily coaching, ride-alongs, and in-field support for Design Consultants.
  • Reinforce the sales process, product knowledge, and presentation skills.
  • Monitor individual and team performance metrics; provide feedback and corrective action when needed.
  • Support onboarding and training of new Design Consultants.
  • Deliver regular training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, and company processes.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns in partnership with Design Consultants and the Director of Sales.
  • Review contracts for completeness, accuracy, and feasibility before submission.
  • Partner with the production team to ensure clean installations and reduce errors or delays caused by incomplete documents.
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable sales culture built on collaboration and shared goals.
  • Model and reinforce company core values in day-to-day leadership.

What You’ll Need
  • 3+ years of sales leadership or field coaching experience (home improvement or in-home sales preferred)
  • Strong ability to coach, motivate, and hold a sales team accountable
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-first mindset and professional presence
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
