Description

1. Responsible for supporting warehouse operations thru delivery.
2. Report issues including product safety and quality to Supervisor immediately
3. Responsible for filling out paperwork correctly
4. Inspect truck before each use and report any problems to the OTR Shipping Supervisor
5. Operate equipment in a safe manner, adhering to required methods of use as explained during training
6. Load, deliver and unload, in a timely manner, to designated locations according to schedule.
7. All deliveries need to be made in a timely manner as some stops are time sensitive. The order in which orders should be delivered is subject to change on a daily basis.
8. Must be able to maintain a Driver’s License with a clean record.
9. Must be able to operate the Hand Truck, Pump Jack and Pallet Jack at the Supervisors request.
10. Ability to understand and follow oral and written work instructions.
11. Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
12. Proper use of PPE at all times and in all circumstances.
13. Support without hesitation General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense Initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices with an understanding that these are absolutes and are Priority #1.
14. Follow all company’s GMP procedures
15. Perform all special requests by the Supervisor

Qualifications

Physical Demands

Work requires some physical strain such as long periods of standing, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting overhead. Must be able to lift approximately 35 pounds over head.

Work Environment

Working around power equipment, slippery floors and dusty areas.  Very hot conditions during summer seasons. Protective clothing such as uniform, gloves and slip resistant shoes may be required.
