Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Nights
Pay: $2247/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and individualized care to patients across a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care across various medical and surgical cases, including pre- and post-operative care.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Ensure safe and effective patient care while adhering to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Active and unrestricted RN license in WV
2+ years of Med/Surg experience
Ortho & PCA pump experience
EPIC experience required
ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA only)
