Location/Type: Remote
Pay: $16.00/hour • W-2, full-time
Schedule: Kansas business hours • Some evening/weekend flex
What you’ll do
- Conduct Health Status Assessments (HSAs) by phone/video
- Confirm demographics, meds, chronic conditions, functional status
- Document Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) per KanCare rules
- Flag care gaps; escalate urgent concerns to supervising clinicians
- Enter data in EMR in real time (HIPAA/CMS/KanCare compliant)
- Partner with nurses and care coordinators to close gaps
- Meet QA and timeliness standards
Must-haves
- Kansas residency
- Formal MA training or 2–3 years healthcare work experience
- Comfortable with EMR/EHR and telehealth tools
- Reliable internet + private professional workspace
- Able to work Kansas business hours with some flex
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kansas Medicaid (KanCare)
