JOB TITLE: Facilities and Events Lead / Full Time Year Round
DIVISION: Mountain Operations
REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager
LOCATION: Base Area & Mountain Area Facilities
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time / Year-Round / Hourly
POSITION:
The Facilites Team Lead will be responsible for helping the manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth execution of tasks during shifts. This individual will communicate assignments effectively, support the team in achieving their goals, and help maintain a high level of productivity and quality. The Lead will also collaborate with Events and Food & Beverage managers to ensure goals are met, provide feedback to team members, and ensure the team is adhering to time management best practices.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shift Start Meeting: Lead and organize the shift start meetings to ensure clear communication of daily objectives, priorities, and any special instructions for the team.
Communicate Assignments: Assign tasks to team members based on their strengths and the requirements of the shift. Ensure all tasks are clearly understood.
Oversee Daily Tasks: Monitor the team’s daily activities to ensure tasks are being completed on time and to the desired standards. Offer assistance as needed.
Collaboration with Events and F&B Managers: Work closely with the Events and Food & Beverage (F&B) managers to understand event goals and ensure the team is aligned in meeting them.
Team Time Management: Support the team in managing their time effectively, ensuring they stay on track with tasks and meet deadlines.
Feedback & Motivation: Provide constructive and motivational feedback to team members, encouraging a positive and productive work environment.
Corrective Actions: When necessary, provide verbal or written corrective actions, ensuring clear communication of the issue and expectations for improvement.
Conflict Resolution: Remain unbiased and objective when resolving conflicts, taking the time to hear all sides of the story before making decisions.
Curiosity & Initiative: Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning about team needs, event details, and operational improvements.
Completion of Repeating Tasks: Regularly audit and oversee completion of repetitive, routine tasks to ensure consistency and quality. Check these tasks off via Limble system.
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
Experience in task management and delegation
Ability to handle sensitive situations and provide corrective actions when necessary
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Previous leadership experience preferred
Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Machine operating experience/knowledge preferred
